SPORTS SCIENCE MADE EASY · DÚN LAOGHAIRE
Bring aerobic capacity and training intensity into one assessment.
Our combined assessment uses lactate stages and a progressive ramp with VO₂ Master. It connects oxygen uptake, lactate, heart rate and power or pace so you can understand the measures together.
The lactate stages examine your response to increasing workload. The ramp examines oxygen uptake at higher intensity. We explain how the protocol connects these measures and what can be concluded from your results.
Bike testing takes place on the Wahoo KICKR Bike; run testing uses the treadmill. Choose the discipline relevant to your goals. If you need both, discuss the booking requirements before arranging separate appointments.
We explain the measured findings, the threshold method and the implications for training. The aim is to identify useful priorities and clarify intensity, rather than reduce your performance to a single score.
Your findings can inform a seven-zone training prescription and a conversation about your next training block. You can use testing alongside an existing coach or explore Endurance Lab coaching for ongoing programme reviews.
Current prices, appointment availability and payment are shown in the portal before booking.
