Triathlon club testing in Ireland, organised around your members

Our triathlon club testing in Ireland gives club members access to the same lab assessments our coached athletes use, organised around group testing days that suit your training calendar. Members can choose from VO2max testing, lactate testing and running analysis, on the bike or treadmill.

Each athlete receives their own results and explanation, and decides what to share with club coaches. Testing can take place at our Dún Laoghaire lab, and we can talk through options for running clubs and cycling teams too.

Affiliated clubs can find events and resources through Triathlon Ireland — a club testing day before the season is a simple way to set training zones for everyone.

Personalised endurance coaching

Built around your members

Start with your sport, group size, experience levels and the question you want to answer. We agree a realistic format before confirming dates or costs. A single education session and a structured assessment day have different needs.

Testing days

VO2max, lactate and combined assessments can help members understand training intensity. Suitable protocols, individual appointment lengths and report delivery are agreed in advance.

Coaching and strength support

Discuss training workshops, strength and conditioning or structured support for a goal event. The programme should work with your club calendar and the different abilities within the group.

Education that members can use

Talks can connect training zones, pacing, recovery and race preparation with real questions from your members. We agree the topic and delivery format with the organiser.

Coach collaboration

External coaches remain part of the conversation. With the athlete’s permission, assessment findings can support their existing training programme rather than requiring a change of coach.

How a club enquiry works

Tell us the sport, approximate number of members, location, preferred dates and main goal. We discuss the suitable services, venue and capacity, then provide the agreed scope and a quotation. Group pricing and travel are confirmed for the specific proposal.

Individual results, individual choices

Participation should be voluntary. Each athlete’s suitability and preparation are considered separately. Individual reports are shared with the athlete; any sharing with a coach or organiser requires their permission. We do not publish club results or photographs without approval.

Do members need Endurance Lab coaching?

No. Performance testing is available to athletes with another coach and to self-coached athletes.

Can you test everyone in one day?

Capacity depends on the assessment and group size. We agree appointment slots and equipment requirements before making a booking.

Where does testing happen?

The lab is at Underground Fitness in Dún Laoghaire. Any proposed offsite format needs a separate discussion of equipment, space and suitability.

Can beginners take part?

The appropriate service depends on experience, goals and suitability. Contact us before arranging exercise testing for the group.
