170 full and half distance courses, or choose Custom course.
Use the total climbing from the race website or a GPS file. We assume the course descends as much as it climbs.
Air and water temperatures are filled in from the race's typical race-day values. Change them to the forecast closer to race day.
Threshold pace comes from a 400 m and 200 m test: (400 time − 200 time) ÷ 2.
Left empty, we use 4:00 and 2:30 for a half, 6:00 and 4:00 for a full.
Before we send your report: your fuelling
Check the label on the gel you train with. We use these answers to build your bike and run fuelling timelines.

Course figures are approximate, from the official course maps. Courses can change from year to year, so check the race website before race day. This race is part of the IRONMAN® 70.3® series. Endurance Lab is not affiliated with or endorsed by IRONMAN.
1.9 km. Typical water around 19°C, so expect a wetsuit swim.
90 km with about 757 m of climbing. Moderately hilly for a half-distance course.
21.1 km with about 190 m of climbing. Hillier than most half-distance runs in our predictor.
Air around 16°C on race day. Usually cool for a triathlon.
Bike. Pace the climbs by power or heart rate rather than speed, and keep enough in reserve for a hilly half marathon. The predictor sets your bike intensity from your FTP and expected bike time, adds about 5% power on the climbs and eases off on the descents.
Run. Expect to run about 6% slower than your fresh run form (more if it is your first half distance). On a hilly run, take the climbs by effort and use the descents to get back on pace.
Fuelling. Most athletes aim for 60–90 g of carbohydrate per hour on the bike, and keep fuelling on the run. If you use caffeine, it usually works best late on the bike and in the second half of the run. The predictor’s emailed report gives you a gel-by-gel timeline for both.
